I miss new wave.

anyways, here's a new comic. i think it's a masterpiece of epic proportions.

also, as i'll be MIA for a day or three, here's an old one:


it was made back when the Matrix was still hip. i mean, i never liked the first one but Matrix Reloaded kicked balls.

then they made that lacklustre travesy Revolutions... and then ruined it even more with shoddy game knock offs that sucked.

This is the last of my Charlie's Angles comics (for now at least), and a 'fan submission' by Nathan Schmidt, depicting a very Phallic Miker.

Once again thomas is in a comic. the robot in this comic maybe similar to another robot but it is completely orignal. Also the Theory of people game is done if you want the links and things to do to get it go to the care for some mead comic for the links and instructions.

I hate nu-vampires. As a real vampire, it offends me when people think they are vampires, but are actually just goths. Bleh!

An old character that i have finally decieded to bring back and give a personality to stumpy aka thomas is the curly hairded charles brown like character in this comic. furthermore i disdain brian salo.

this was one of my first tv parodies ever. it was parodied off some tv commercial where this guy says, "people think i'm always drunk, but i'm really epileptic" and you're supposed to feel sad because it's sad and shit... but i really hate tv. ALOT.

it was also the introduction of my not utilised enough character, Jon Rico, who's personality would later become Gordo's. Jon Rico even had brown scruffy hair like Gordo. Jon Rico's entire name has to be pronounced when you speak of him. you dont just say Jon or Rico. it has to be Jon Rico.

EDIT: check out Blood Thirsty Melon. the link is now at the top of recommended webcomics because this is hands down THE BEST webcomic i have ever seen. well... PBF is. how ever, BTM is a close second. and as they are lesser known i felt the deserved to be higher up. get some recognition on them.

it's a new week... so i thought we'd go back to some old stuff. this here is the very first miker comic i ever created that appeared online. it features ThaSpY and the Little Jimmy. ThaSpY was by buddy who was kind enough to give me webspace.

but seriously folks, western cultures infatuation with a drawing style is a little unhealthy. almost as unhealthy as Japan's fascination with Western culture... i mean seriously, pretty soon they'll be churning out as many bad garage bands as we are.

anyways, that's not to say i'm totally againt anime of all sorts. there's been a couple i've liked. my second favourite anime was Transformers.

today's post by miker has a double comic... well, so did last one. woot. well, the first one was written by david. however, with too much to do in so little time, he enlisted me to aid him.

thus i did... creating a rather sweet comic.






this other dealy is another "I hate television..." comics. this one has to do with that retarded beer commercial... which one you say? i dont know. THEY'RE ALL RETARDED!

well, save for that Heineken one where the guys dance like robots and such. that's sweet. oh, and the one with the hip hop poptart is awesome too... but that's a Pop Tart commercial.

yup, this particular beer commercial which i parodied was so generic and lame that i can even remember which beer it was. so i crossed Coors Light with Labatts Blue. ha. ha. que laugh track.

anyone else hate tv? i sure do. i dont really watch it much anymore except when there's a good movie on. well, i also watch it for the Reboot and Beast Wars reruns but that's about it.

anyways i'm watching it the other day when suddenly... much to my dismay... commericals come on. not just any commericals, really terrible Mott's Clamato commercials. something about spicy-ness and having to be edited by the QCC for spicy content. it was ridiculous. i nearly vomited in outrage.




anyways, the first one is the better one. it parodys the commercial where the guy and the two chicks get in the hot tub and presumably have sex (however, the QCC kindly edited that out for us).

the second one's not as funny. it's got the nurse. i mean, it's funny... hilarious, even. however, the first one is THAT much better!

This is from a conversation miker and I had about some of the contributors of a student government project I put together, surprisingly it didn't sell well, surprisingly.

Well the evil forces of the meganaut are once again threatening the world. What hero has the tenacity, wit and poise to stop them?

man, i remember way back when it was just Kovier and I doing this whole comic dealy at ThaSpY.com/miker (long dead). Kovier was doing his early comic stuff with 50 cent and Ja Rule and Dr Gre and i was making my full figure, full coloured comics that were oh so popular (ha). anyways, i remember this one time ThaSpY got a MSNZone message from some guy named Exalted Bread. seemed he wasnt a fan of the our webcomic site:

anyways, i wasn't impressed. well, i didnt really care. EB couldnt spell worth shit... i thought he should be able to get off with being a little ignorant. still, i came up with a brilliant idea which to this day is still brought up...

i added ExaltedBread to my webcomic and degraded him! woohoo! i doubt he ever came to the site and saw what i did but i dont care. his addition to the webcomic's cast was great.

he appeared in many other strips of the short-lived 'miker' comics... but those other appearances were in actual story arcs beyond those two i just showed you. now, what was really sweet was how the fans i had managed to accumulate among my friends and the ThaSpY.com/forums quickly leapt to my side and submitted me guest comic after guest comic of ExaltedToast's demise!

as you can see, readers of my comic were often vicious with murdurous intent... infact, xPhase was so incensed at ExaltedBread's words that he made a second comic (actually, this one came first... i do believe... i just got them backwards. first xPhase started with all the clipart, then he got fancy by copying my images, heh):

anyways, with all the recent lambasting of OTR_Buddy and his Mega Man sprite comic it kind of brought back memories seeing as how when we totally degraded ExaltedBread we were doing the same thing...

and i thought to myself... if i had a bunch of clipart using fanatics still with me now... what would they give me to help me smite On The Rock?

That Nathan Schmidt sure is a funny guy. This is Nathan's second influence for Theory of People (see the first) . This comic is actually based on a true story. Stay tuned for more comics featuring Nathan-coined phrases and scenarios in them.

Second post! This is an older comic of mine based around a character that is the curved upper surface of a nonturbulent liquid in a container that is concave if the liquid wets the container walls and convex if it does not. Enjoy.

Yes. Those are what malls look like in America.

And I really had to pee when I was drawing the crowd so i didn't put much heart into it.

Michael Keaton is hands down, the best Batman... mind you, i haven't seen Batman Begins and Christian Bale can sometimes make good (see Equilibrium)... and with a villain like Cillian Murphy, you can't go wrong...

but yes... out of all five Batman movies, Michael Keaton is probably the best. he's better than Val Kilmer and George 'the worst Batman' Clooney, anyways.

Batman Returns is also hands down, the best Batman movie... mind you, i haven't seen Batman Begins, etc. etc.... though Batman 1 was pretty freaking sweet with the scariness and the tension and Jack Nicholson as The Joker... Batman Returns has the only good portrayal of the Catwoman (fuck you Halle Barry) and it has The Penguin. i dont know about you guys but to me, the Penguin is the sweetest bad guy to ever exist. he is so freaking sweet. i cannot begin to emphasize to you how sweet he is. sweet sweet sweet. sweeeeeeeeeet. fucking sweet. oh fuck sweet. he kicks balls. Dan Ackroyd or Elijah Wood or whatever the hell his name is (Danny Boyle? no, that's not right) who played the Penguin in Batman Returns did a pretty damn good job of it....

anyways, if you get a chance, goto Something Awful, then to their Flash Tub, then watch both Batman movies. they rock.

i dont care what they say, the ISA rocket launcher is much better than the Helghast rocket launcher. yes, okay, the Helghast rocket launcher can shoot three rockets while the ISA one can only fire a single missle.... but you cant see half of the damned screen with the Helghast rocket launcher! it kills off half of your peripheral(sp?) vision!

remember when erock comics used to feature him on his purple couch playing xbox games? like Fable or Halo? well, in honour of this Krillzone comic (*cough*Killzone) i brought it back.

more people should play Killzone. it was a severely underrated game... but watch out for the fanboys. they're worse than Halo's.
