further archive cleaning

this was a comic strip i attempted to begin after i went through my period of no ideas (see the archives huge blank area of comics back in 2004). i planned to leave stick comics and just draw in MSPaint. it worked for a while. i drew four comics, then gave up. i'll post them over the course of the day.


this first one really happened. place me in the place of the guy studying... then imagine some crazy guy you've never met coming up to you and saying these things. i wasn't actually at home though, it was in a library. still. weird.

forget you too

over the years i noticed a lot of webcomic artists feel it's their duty to give the fans something extra besides their webcomic. they usually do this by putting up online sketches of stuff that doesnt appear in their webcomic... just doodles and completely unrelated jokes. it's like bonus material.

and for some reason, their fans usually really like it. now i know this wont be the case for Theory of People. our sketches are horrible. however, as you can see in the last post, there is obviously something written on the back of those Biology class comics. what are they? some people might ask. just doodles... now presented here as bonus material.



this one is from the back of David and the Sandwich. as you can see, it has a pterodactyl. it also has some dick being excited for the new Godzilla movie. that was a possible comic idea that never came to be. so there it is now. it also has a picture of H20 being attracted to salt. just like in real life... only david turned it into a picture of some guy with glasses. which i then turned into a car.


this was on the back of Blood Man vs the Hemogoblin. as you can see, it's just a bunch of awful drawings... including but not limited to: cowboys, ducks, tusken raiders, space ships, Burt and Ernie vampires and creepy looking muscular things. also, pterodactyls.

this also has a comic idea that never came to be... well, it was a Flash animation idea that never came to be. we'd have that really famous Beethoven song playing (i cant remember the correct symphony, david knows) and all these weird shit would happen. like humpty dumpty turning into a crazy bat thing and little people cutting off his legs with chainsaws and chicken tanks trying to fight him.

then the next panel shows Beethoven waking up because was dreaming... and that dream was his inspiration for writing a symphony. when we were talking about it, it seemed hilarious. now i look back and vomit.


this one was on the back of the Who wants to make david a Millionaire? comic. obviously you wont make much sense of the Convulated Tubule man reference unless you know your human analogy. even then, it isn't very funny at all. David made the Crane game capturing Convulated Tubule man.

in an attempt to further clean out my junk drawer, here are more scanned images. all of these were made about a year ago in a Biology class David and i took... hence why David and i are in the comics and hence why Biology terms are used as the jokes here. well... mainly just the Blood Man comic.

anyways, the first one will probably only appeal to people who enjoy david's humour or my own more surreal comics. it has david trying to eat his sandwich... but in order to do so, he has to first insert a slice of cheese like an access card to gain access to the sandwich. awesome, no?

the second is blood man fighting the hemogoblin. its' like spiderman vs the green goblin.

the last one has david appearing on who wants to be a millionaire... with terrible results.

i'm putting my Stick Comics, Death and Return of the Theory and any other idea that comes to my mind all on hiatus.

with all this old material i've found hand drawn and such, i've been inspired to scan it up and put it on the site. if only to prove to viewers that we do have artistic talent and hopefully generate a larger viewing mass.

man... if people weren't so biased i probably wouldnt be so keen on doing this. oh well. it's happening. prepare yourself for an influx of handdrawn stuff.

so anyways, this is actually a fairly recent strip. only a few months old. made before summer. the original idea goes to Erock... however, he never made a comic for it. so i did. i never got around to making it online though so here it is, in all its pen and paper glory.

what's this? no one posted a comic for sunday? here's a double helping of Classic Miker to make up for it. not only does it unload some more old material but it gives me time to build up suspense for this amazingly huge Taking Back the Theory story arc. what happened? are they okay? will the Theory survive? obviously it will... but it's funnier in the comic.

anyways, the longer one continued my fascination with Agent Smith. i didn't much enjoy the first Matrix... i loved the second. that's where i literally became Smith. the third...well... like everyone, i was disappointed. the other one merely introduces another small child for me to pick on.
