Theory of People

the revolution is over, miker has surrendered, order will be restored and a new golden age of theory/theroy will begin.

I quit.

In order to keep the people up to date on the war, i will be sharing with them an indepth battle strategy. the one we will use to crush these rebels... these rebels who wish to destroy our liberalistic democracy and turn it into a monarchistic dictatorship.
As you can see from this image... this is the internet as we know it. in our portion of this world, we are relegated to a rather small, insignificant chunk of webspace.








in webcomic space, we are once again, relegated to a rather small area with Theory, our allies and the treacherous TheRoy.















and here, in our corner of the world, is our theatre of war. as you can see, it's very detailed. in the north western sector, we have the Theory of Mountain range where the Theory of People Castle once stood... the Theory of River which runs from the Theory of Mountains to the Theory of Ocean. we have the rich and bountiful Miker Delta at the mouth of the river and west of it, the Kovier Forests. This is what Theory of People is currently under control of... we used to have complete control over the Eric Desert.... but in there first push against Theory, it was taken by TheRoy. all the other territory was taken while TheRoy was mobilizing against the Theory, while we were complacent and sure of peace... but that peace was shattered...











as you can see, the Eric desert is now contested. our troops have been forced to withdraw to the Theory of River to refill supplies but we will not let the entire desert fall under enemy control. in order to counter this push, Theory forces are being sent via hovercraft around TheRoy forces. we will land on TheRoy controlled coast and take control of the Tyler penninsula which will give us a footing in David Bay. once there we will be able to quickly mount an attack on the TheRoy of People Shack and hopefully bring an end to this unfounded uprising.

i know i havent been keeping the people up to date on the war. that's my own fault. i'll get back on track soon... but an armistice was signed to get this comic up... written by eric, drawn by miker. i hope i got most of it right, i forgot a lot of what was said that fateful night.

gotta tell the truth.

It has been brought to our attention that Miker has retaliated against this peaceful demonstration and effort to bring knowledge to the people by creating an armed conflict. He has declared a total war in which everybody is a victim. To bring to light more of Miker's misdeeds, we have thought it our duty to better inform you before you choose a side. Here are some of the seedier things Miker doesn't want you to know:



Miker is pro-slavery
The Roy is anti-slavery and believes in the concept 'from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.'

Miker hates black people.
Eric has a black foot.

Miker enjoys caging those he sees as beneath him.
The roy - the only cage we care about is Johnny Cage.

Miker enjoys the savory taste of baby flesh.
Although The Roy feels that baby flesh is delicious, it should only be consumed under dire circumstances.

Miker puts his trash in the proper recepticals
The roy believes that littering creates jobs for the people. Also it kicks ass


Miker believes in the teachings of Dash Rendar, who, due to incongruous records, may not have even existed.
The Roy consistently stands by the ideals of Han Solo, the one true smuggler. His completion of the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs was nothing short of miraculous.

I hate it when miker watches the deer hunter.

A photo taken from Tyler's public address yesterday concerning Theroy's assault on Theory of People. Details on the private speech that followed have not been released yet but one reporter stated "By Gundy, them Theroy boys aint' gonna be wishin they was themselves..."

There were also reports that Tyler addressed the concerns of a robot David army and what the public should expect. Drafting may be in order yet Theory has told the people not to jump to conclusions.

And with that I began my campaign against Theroy.

Theory of People and Theroy, let the war begin.

Here is a picture of the great leaders of the Theory Alliance. Kovier, Tyler and Miker, respectively. The forces of Theroy will crumble before our collective will!

See the power of the people? The people do not support this 'false' revolution. The support their democratic leaders at the Theory, not the facists of Theroy.

The first bit of support comes from Sean Rhodes aka The Flying Priest. Current champion of Billingsgatry (another Theory ally), he has used his talents to help show the rest of the world just how terrible Theroy and their revolution are:














The next piece comes from C-Wing's (a good Wing but not as good as a reliable X-Wing or speedy A-Wing) own Chris Ross. As you can see, the first casualty of war is innocence... Chris's facial hair was no exception:



















Is there no end to the terror and discourse that the Theroy is willing to spread? I know not. The Crown is eternally grateful to the people who lend their support in the Theory's direst hour.

is it a simple mispelling of the Theory? no... i'm afraid it is not. fellow people of the commonwealth, there has been an uprising beneath our very noses.

a false revolution has been started by our once beloved High Commander Eric. retired General David has also joined the revolutionary ranks. occasionally hired janitorial staff member, Nathan Schmidt has also been found working with the enemy.

worst of all, they've been in contact with Concept of Humour. i assure the people that if any breaches of the Theory/Concept peace treaty are broken, there will be swift action to prevent any war. i have also had confirmation from one of the High Mistresses of the Concept that their neutrality will remain throughout this 'buisness.'

as you may well be aware of, that treacherous dog Commander Eric has been removed from the ranks of the Theory. i'm issuing a general statement to all Theory members... Kovier, Tyler... in this desparate hour, the Theory needs your help despite your short comings (Kovier, the rollerball mouse; Tyler, a job).

i also call out to any allied members of the Theory or any good samaritan wishing to be of service... help us defeat the Theroy of People. send in any comic you have to destroy these dogs!

Here's my billings submission for this week, sorry i ahven't been updating, i got a job now... a real one...

here's a guy we used to go to high school with. he's a cowboy. we wrote this song as tribute to him.

As you may have noticed, I have not been posting like I regularly do.

This is not because I am lazy, or incompetent, or even at a lack of ideas.

It is because I am ashamed.

I am ashamed at what has happened to my stick figure drawing skills. With my new computer, I no longer have a logitech laser mouse, so I am stuck with the old ball mechanism. This ball makes drawing most things incredibly difficult as the ball stops rolling whenever it wants and everything gets messed up.

I guess this would be a time to test my new scanner, but I so dearly want to finish the Mr. Tagg vs. Green Day story arc.

We'll see how everything pans out this weekend.

i've been messing around with drawing in negative. i drew this picture and thought it looked good. perhaps when i get serious about a comic project i'll draw it in this kind of style.

i found an ancient david comic, made long before any vestiges of Theory of People had appeared on the net.

i feel it's relevant to our whole theme here at Theory of People.

Side note: in the second panel, though my nose isn't fully accurate to what mine looks like in real life, I have found that it is near impossible to draw a nose for me in paint that doesn't make me look Jewish.
