forgot to post this during the Theory/TheRoy war. it was a second piece from Flying Priest (whom operates out of Billingsgatry).

a sequel to the Titanic. i was skeptical at first, but this one looks pretty friggin sweet. i'm actually rather excited for it. James Woods, John Cusack and Bill Paxton are going to be in it along with Leo Dicaprio.

i finally found an MMORPG i'm truly interested in playing. it looks great! Mad Max and Escape from Whatever and The Sands and all those post-apocalytic things all rolled into a MMORPG!!! it's like someone finally started paying attention to what i was saying and made a game catered specifically to me!

Mutants, Cyborgs, Humans, oh my! those are the best kind of races, not elves and dragons and shit.

Auto Assault got it right. you can run around like WoW or whatever, but then you can also get fucking cars like in Twisted Metal Black and Vigilante 8. oh man. awesome. the storyline? also fucking awesome. aliens crash land on earth and contaminate it... Biomeks (cyborg humans) are invented by man to wipe out the increasing faction of fanatically religious mutants. it dont work. so humans go underground and nuke the entire planet. they come up after radiation subsides to only discover that Mutants and Biomeks have thrived as well as numerous smaller clans and factions. so now the humans have to reassert their dominance of the planet and ensure the survival of the pure strain of human life. of course you can play from the assimilative Biomek or fundamentalist Mutant perspectives.

i tell ya, it's a dream come true. fuck you WoW and your dragons and shit! i want nuclear waste!

who's the bigger badass?

you know, i've always been a bit skeptical of World of Warcraft. reason number one, it's a Blizzard genre that i dont support (although i'm terribly biased against it, the only Warcraft i played was the shitty DOS one, though i guess for it's time it was good). i'd much rather see a World of Starcraft... now that would be fucking sweet. reason number two, i can't run it on my computer... another shitty reason not to like it. reason number three, assholes from all over the world flock to it... that's about the only legitimate reason i have to stay away from the game.

one thing... i dont mind these assholes as long asthey dont bother me. since i dont play WoW, they'll never bother me. so i dont mind'em. i love hearing about dupes and moon-faced simpletons being swindled and harassed on WoW. gives me hope; hope that the dregs of society will rot the WoW infrastucture from the inside out and ruin the franchise forcing Blizzard to make the Starcraft sequel (no Ghost bullshit) or the Black Thorne sequel. but in all honesty, i also simply enjoy hearing about the misfortunes of others. to be honest, who doesnt? i'm sure only a few people can truly say they've never laughed at a person dressed all nicely tripping and falling into a muddy, oil-slicked puddle.

anyways, all the Something Awful scams and the Leroy Jenkins things were funny enough... but damn, this stuff that went down recently is incredible. a WoW player passed away some time ago and his friends online held an ingame memorial service for him. a nice enough gesture but i, for one, would rather not be remembered for spending my life on a game like the unfortunate deceased probably will. anyways, a rival clan, Serenity Now, comes along and crashed the funeral. they just roll in and slaughter every single person there and murder the already dead character they were mourning (someone had logged into his account so the other players could better pay homage to him). it was all too hideous too... a single Serenity Now guy walked up to the deceased's player and killed him with some kind sharp weapon... and THEN the rest of them poured out onto the unsuspecting masses.

of course there's all kinds of controversy and whatever. but oh well, my sense of humour has always been
